Who am I?
I am currently the head resident DJ of LV8 Bar, which is the first full video dance club in Shenzhen City, China since June 2009. I produce my own remixes, video mixes, and my own original tracks as well. I have been DJ'ing for 21 years.
How It All Started
Since elementary, I have always had the passion for music and the arts. I started singing for the choir when I was 9 years old, and I started DJ'ing at the age of 12, going to the local sound equipment rental place in my town and paying just to practice. I also started playing the drums at age 14, without any formal lesson, and eventually became a band drummer. I also learned how to play the guitar and the piano when I was 15.
When I was in college, I had the opportunity to save money and collect vinyl, and eventually start my own sound system business. I bought a pair of second-hand Technics turntables, a mixer, some speakers and more vinyl. I would do gigs with my band and DJ'ing for small parties during my free time. I graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in 1998 with a degree in Fine Arts, major in Advertising. I also graduated from AMA-CLC Shaw in 2000 with a degree in computer graphic arts. After that, i continued my DJ'ing and was employed as a regular DJ and emcee for the Philippines' largest music outlet, which was named Odyssey, and that's where they coined the name for me. I was discovered by an underground remixing company called Music planet in 2000, and eventually Dj Odyssey became the biggest selling name in underground remixes. It was only a matter of time before mainstream radio noticed, and at the time, i was playing gigs at some of the biggest venues and clubs in Manila. I became the remix DJ of a local radio station in 2004, and also had the chance to work and collaborate with DMC World Champion Dj Coki, and now 5-time DMC Dj Mixing Philippine Champion Archimedes Nicolas (Dj Jam Masta), who has been my friend since 2001. I was also the Behringer live remixing competition champion in 2004.

Working Overseas
After touring various places in the Philippines, I decided that it was time for me to go International. I have accomplished many things, but I wanted to see how far I can go. Knowing that I would have to start from scratch, I went to Kaohshiung City, Taiwan to work as a DJ at Superstar Disco in 2006. After that, I went to Macau and worked as a DJ at the Tryst Ultralounge at the Wynn hotel and Casino. In 2007, I became a resident DJ playing primetime at InClub, in Shenzhen upto 2009. The club has expanded, and I became the head DJ of LV8 Bar in the same city. I was the first to introduce live video mixing, and I produced my own remixes of both audio and video. I have extensive knowledge of audio and video editing software. I appeared in the March 2010 issue of That's PRD magazine.
I make my own music too, I am currently working on an album, and I create my own music videos as well. Today, I have a made about a thousand video remixes for my personal use in the club.

Genres
I am a versatile DJ. I play electro, progressive, funky and Dutch house music, hip-hop, rock, hip-house, pop and mashups. I create my own remixes and mashups as well, in both audio and video. I have a very extensive music collection and very experienced in crowd-reading in different settings and atmospheres. I am very keen on tempo and beat / key matching.
Goals
I would like to travel Asia and the Europian countries, if ever given the chance. After China, I plan to work in some other Asian countries like Singapore and Japan. My ultimate goal is to build my own professional recording studio and music label / company.
